  I just got an email back from the head developer of GnomeMeeting.
  He says it is a consequence of building SDL with arts support.
  He says in the next release it will be fixed by using a wrapper call
  to artsddsp.

  *NOTE* - arts suspend support (disabling arts during gnomemeeting call)
  isn't compilling correctly.  I have a patch for the mean time which
  checks if you have the kde use variable set, and if you do, disables
  arts support.
